Health Studies (HLST) Courses

Our School offers a range of courses that cover foundations of health studies, introductory and advanced courses in health policy, health management, and digital health, as well as capstone and applied courses in the field.

While most of our courses are for or major, minor, and certificate students, some of our courses are open to other students as well. Prerequisite are enforced at the time of enrolment. If you are unable to enrol in an HLST course through the system, you may submit an HLST Course Permission Request Form. Please note that approval is not guaranteed.

Below you will find our undergraduate courses listed by year level, with links to the Summer 2026 and Fall-Winter 2026-2027 course offerings (click for the full course description, prerequisites, and sections offered).

Summer 2026 offerings include HLST 2301, HLST 4170 and HLST 4900, as well as HLST 3240 which is offered through the School of HRM.
