Last Day to Add a Winter Term Course and Course Permission Request InformationÌý

Thursday, Jan.Ìý15Ìýis the last dayÌýto add a Winter term courseÌýandÌýhave unrestricted access to the registration and enrolment system.ÌýPlease reviewÌý and connect with yourÌýStudent Success & Academic AdvisorÌýifÌýyou’dÌýlike to discuss your academic plan.ÌýAlso take note of the if you’re dropping a Winter term course.Ìý

IfÌýa course is full or restricted, you will need to contact the academic departmentÌýoffering the course to see what your options are (e.g., be added to a waitlist, ask for permission to enrol).ÌýÌýwill provide you with department contact information. Please note that not all departments offer waitlists for full courses. Ìý

When emailing for course permission, be sure to include the following information in your request: Ìý

  1. ±·²¹³¾±ð Ìý
  2. Student ID number Ìý
  3. Course Code (i.e.ÌýSOSC 1000) and Section Ìý
  4. Course Catalogue # Ìý

Please noteÌýthatÌýAcademic AdvisorsÌýare not able toÌýprovide permissions for restricted or full courses.

The Martin and Maria Singer ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ Abroad Award,Ìývalued at $2,000, will be awarded to a full-time continuing undergraduate student enrolled in the Faculty of Liberal ArtsÌý&ÌýProfessional Studies who isÌýparticipatingÌýinÌýone of York's international exchange or study abroad programs. To be eligible recipients must have a minimum GPA of 6.0.Ìý
