People, Groups & Spaces

The Indigenous Council (IC) is mandated to cultivate respectful and reciprocal relationships between Indigenous Communities and ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ. We strive to advance Indigenous presence across all sectors of the University, with the ultimate aim of moving towards Decolonization and Indigenization. All Indigenous Faculty members are invited to be part of this council.

Currently they meet once per month.

To learn more about IC, contact the chair.

The Department of Humanities offers an Indigenous Studies Program.
