Remembrance Day Ceremony聽聽
York will be hosting the annual Remembrance Day ceremony, honouring the men and women who聽lost their lives during the First and Second World Wars聽and聽in聽other conflicts.聽

This year鈥檚 conference offers a dynamic blend of virtual pre-conference sessions and an in-person conference experience, giving you the flexibility to engage in the way that works best for you. Gain the tools you need to succeed in today鈥檚 job market.聽
All pre-conference sessions are free. The full-day conference costs $15 to attend.鈥

November is National Career Month, and you can jumpstart your career with the聽LA&PS Co-op Program.聽The application deadline is right around the corner, apply by聽Friday, Nov. 14 at 11:59 p.m.聽for the opportunity to get paid and gain real-world experience while still in school!
Start by attending the Co-op Information Session, where you will get an overview of the program, eligibility requirements, student聽responsibilities聽and the聽supports聽available to help you succeed.听听

Indigenous Lecture Series聽
In honour of Indigenous Education Month, join us for this year鈥檚 annual Indigenous Lecture Series: Rematriating Justice 鈥 Honouring the Lives of Our Indigenous Sisters. Dr. Jennifer Brant, founding director of the Indigenous Literatures Lab and an associate professor at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, will introduce Matriarchal Worlding, an Indigenous feminist orientation for 鈥榬ematriating justice鈥 and upholding the power and place of Indigenous women and girls.
