Funding and Employment – Funded Students (CUPE)

  • CUPE-1 Postings
    • Additional application requirements for Tickets (teaching a course as CUPE-1) include: 
      • (a) A letter indicating the applicant’s interest in teaching a course; how teaching a course fits with the applicant’s future career aspirations; the subject matter the applicant is most qualified to teach; and the term or terms in which the applicant would be available to teach the course;
      • (b) A statement from the applicant’s supervisor indicating a ticketed course director position at this stage is appropriate and will not negatively affect the applicant’s progress in the Program." (Article 10.01.1 (ii))

NOTE: Full-time students are eligible to be members of CUPE-1 or CUPE-3. They are not eligible for positions in CUPE-2. Please refer to the  for details.


Milestones: Degree Progression Timelines

Degrees and diplomas have strict timelines for completion and the completion of steps along the way ("milestones"). Students are encouraged to mark their calendars when they start their program, and to complete their milestones in the required timelines.
